Overview

The Loss Control Internship (LCI) program, a series of four, one-week seminars, gives you the knowledge and skills needed to successfully manage challenging safety and loss control issues. From environmental issues, to disaster recovery, emergency procedures and workplace violence — you'll be prepared to take preventative measures and corrective action. Completion of all four seminars is the first step to becoming a Certified Loss Control Professional credential.

Learning Objectives

  • Learn the foundational components of electric co-op safety and loss control

  • Learn to navigate industry rules and regulations — from OSHA, to the NESC

  • Improve your ability to communicate, influence, and ensure accountability for safety

The nearest airport is Dane County Regional Airport (MSN), which is approximately a 20 minute ride to the Fluno Center.

Taxis can be found at the north end of the baggage claim at Door #7. Fare to the Fluno Center for Executive Education is approximately $25-$30.

Fees

2018 fees are $2,150 per seminar for NRECA Members and $2,600 per seminar for non-members with billing occurring after each seminar.
