All in-person training sessions are held at the NRECA Headquarters in Arlington, Virginia and Fluno Center for Executive Education located in Madison, Wisconsin. With a blended learning format, some modules and academic work will be conducted in a virtual learning environment. In other words, you'll be taking part of the program from your co-op or home, saving time away and related expenses. The in-person and online live components are required for program completion.
Throughout the program, learner knowledge is assessed post-class in the form of quizzes. This ensures the class curriculum has been assimilated by the learners immediately following the class. A final project is also required for successful CCC completion.
Maintain Your CCC Designation
On an annual basis, NRECA will conduct an audit, randomly selecting a number of CCCs to provide proof of continuing education fulfillment. All CCCs should maintain documentation of their continuing education participation.
To keep your designation as an active Certified Cooperative Communicator (CCC), you must accumulate at least 1.0 continuing education units (CEUs) each year, and pay the annual professional fee (currently set at $175). Most CCCs fulfill their annual CEU requirement by attending Connect or a statewide communications conference.
