Co-ops have always stepped up to meet the needs of their consumer-members and their communities in the most challenging circumstances. The social and economic upheaval caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has tested this resolve as never before. To measure the impact of co-ops’ response, NRECA and Touchstone Energy® Cooperatives conducted a national COVID-19 Response Survey of electric cooperative consumer-members.
The pulse survey measured local co-op response to COVID-19 compared to other local organizations and member expectations of the co-op during the recovery. The focus areas included co-op performance on key attributes (changes to procedures/operations during COVID), communications, co-op's response compared to other local organizations and member expectations of the co-op during the recovery.
Distribution co-ops and co-op leadership can use the survey findings and its lessons-learned to incorporate into communication, ongoing programs and services at their co-ops.
This free webinar will provide an overview of methodology and results along with insights into other consumer attitude expectations to help you plan future communications and consider modifications to existing programs and services.
The findings will provide a national snapshot of co-op performance across the network.
