Every four years, industries with an interest in the action of our government brace for electoral results and the prospect of a change in control of our executive branch. Over the last 30 years, every presidential transition has created uncertainty for industries concerned about government regulatory activity.
The Biden Administration is faced with a historically narrow divided Congress that will make advancing legislation difficult. As a result, we should expect the administration to pursue an ambitious regulatory agenda which may impact electric cooperatives.
