Overview

This online, self-paced course is designed to set the stage for application of data analytics and data science to improve cooperative outcomes. As the industry and membership of cooperatives evolves, more data is needed to operate the system reliably and safely. Higher member expectations mean that work processes need to be fine-tuned using data to deliver on those expectations.

This course will take the mystery out of "Big Data" and teach lessons about how co-ops and others use data to make their business decisions better. The content will provide a guiding framework to incorporate a broader use of data into daily cooperative work. Using examples, videos from co-op experts, exercises and knowledge checks, this course provides practical learning on what can be a daunting subject.
