The NRECA Executive Leadership Program is a comprehensive, multidiscipline, leadership program that offers an immersive world-class education experience exclusively for the most senior electric cooperative leaders. It is taught by some of the best educators in the world from the Kellogg School of Management, ranked the #2 executive MBA program in the country by U.S. News and World Report.

Designed exclusively for CEOs/GMs, MIP graduates and C-suite executives (COO, CIO, CFO), the one-week NRECA Executive Leadership Program—held on campus at Northwestern University—will enlighten, inform and level up your leadership skills.

Who is eligible to Participate?

Participants should meet one of the following criteria:

  • CEOs/GMs, or

  • Graduates of MIP, or

  • C-Suite Level Employees (COO, CIO or CFO)

And must be an NRECA voting member from one of the following:

  • Distribution cooperative

  • G&T cooperative

  • Statewide

The program is offered once a year, and space is limited to 45 participants. Eligible member co-ops are limited to two attendees per year.


How to Participate in this Program
  • Full payment for the program is due at the time of registration. Invoicing is not available.
  • Applications will be reviewed for eligibility in the order they are received within 10 business days.
  • An email will be sent by the NRECA Executive Leadership Program manager, Christine Miller, who will confirm your registration. Applicants who don't meet the requirements will be contacted within 10 business days and fully refunded.
  • Because this program is a unique immersive experience, it is limited to 45 participants each year. The deadline for cancelling your registration for a full refund is Friday, June 14, 2024. After that date, no refunds will be issued. Transferring of the program registration to another, eligible person is available until August 30, 2024. After that date, no refunds or transfers are available.

The NRECA Executive Leadership Program is comprised of approximately 30 hours of instruction. Up to 3.0 CEUs are awarded.

Fees

The five-day NRECA Executive Leadership Program is $8,995 per participant and includes:

  • All course materials and classroom instruction

  • Participant lodging at the James L. Allen Center

  • All participant meals and snacks

  • Networking reception every evening
