​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Achieving Cooperative Community Equitable Solar Sources (ACCESS) project, the flagship project of NRECA's initiative Advancing Energy Access for All, aims to improve the affordability, performance, and value of solar technologies on the grid. Through this project, tools and resources will be developed to assist electric co-ops and the broader industry deploy solar projects to benefit low- to moderate-income (LMI) consumers.

This report series is focused on providing an evaluation of existing financing mechanisms and program designs for low to moderate income solar PV programs. ​The series will include a gap analysis that reviews challenges around LMI access to solar energy, and solutions and pathways for tackling the challenges.

• ​​​​​Report 1: How Cooperatives Are Supporting Their Members In Need - Programs, Rates and Partnerships for Low- to Moderate-Income Members​
  ​​The purpose of this first report is to explore the variety of programs and services offered by co-ops to help LMI members, while often simultaneously benefiting other members, the co-op, and the grid.

• ​Report 2: How Existing Co-op Program and Financing Mechanisms Support Solar Access for Low- to Moderate-Income Members​​
  The second report evaluates which of these existing program and financing structures may best facilitate access to solar energy for LMI members.

• Report 3: Electric Cooperative Solar Market Analysis and Trends​​​
  The third and final report provides on-the-ground observations around solar industry market trends from wholesale power providers.
