Across the country, electric cooperative utilities continue to focus on keeping their assets online and providing safe, reliable electricity during the COVID-19 pandemic. Electric cooperatives need to meet the demand needs of their service areas as more people telecommute and continue to rely on materials, data and information to get the job done. This webinar examined implications on supply chain management, as well as discuss the challenges and potentially value-added opportunities for our organizations. The session will end with a look at where we are going and five actions that will help us get there.

What You Will Learn

  1. Improve continuity plans by recognizing the unique assumptions required during pandemics.
  2. Improve resilience through remote inventory management and e-negotiation strategies.
  3. Address force majeure and other legal clauses in current and future contracts.
  4. Identify opportunities to strengthen relationships with and manage the expectations of vendors, partners and consumer-member.
