Overview

Influence is a powerful skill in today’s workplace. It is not limited to title or authority, it grows from insight, strong relationships and the ability to connect people and ideas. HR professionals are expected to do more than manage processes, they are called to influence strategy, culture and leadership decisions. This session focuses on how HR professionals can become people of influence in their co-ops. Participants will explore how being strategic—in how they think, speak, and act—is the foundation for building credibility, shaping conversations, and influencing ou​tcomes.


In this webinar, participants will:​​
  • Explore what it means to be a person of influence in the HR profession
  • Define strategic thinking and how it strengthens influence
  • Discuss current challenges HR professionals face when trying to influence leaders and decisions within their co-ops
  • Learn the Think–Speak–Act model for influencing with intention
  • Practice applying key behaviors and practices in small groups
  • Identify next steps for growing their influence in everyday interactions

Through storytelling, discussion, and practice, participants will learn how strategic thinking becomes the pathway to meaningful and lasting influence.​
