The Microgrids, Infrastructure Resilience, and Advanced Controls Launchpad (MIRACL) is a collaborative, multiyear distributed wind research effort between U.S. DOE's Wind Energy Technologies Office and National Laboratories to accelerate distributed wind technology development into the expanded distributed energy future. NRECA Research participates on the project's Advisory Board. For more information on the project, visit the project page here.
One of the three main focuses of the MIRACL project is enhanced resilience, including cybersecurity. The project has published a Cybersecurity Guide for Distributed Wind that can be found here. This report and other resources, including supplemental cybersecurity guides for distributed wind operators and integrators, can be found here on the MIRACL Resources Page.
