Exploring Distributed Wind Projects

Distributed wind projects are defined as wind projects where the energy produced is used locally. The project size can range from very small, off-grid wind turbines to larger, community-scale projects composed of several utility-scale wind turbines.

This toolkit is intended to help co-ops determine when distributed wind or wind hybrid projects make sense. The toolkit includes resources to help co-ops evaluate, scope, plan for and execute distributed wind projects.
