NRECA's 2025 TechAdvantage conference and expo in Atlanta is themed “Inspire" and geared to move electric cooperative professionals to experience the latest in artificial intelligence, broadband, cybersecurity, supply chain management and distributed energy resources through educational sessions, talks with experts, interactive demos, networking and more.

“As co-ops grapple with vast new uses for AI, increased demand for electricity, extreme weather and smarter community development, it's an opportune time to be inspired," said Alison Kent, NRECA senior program manager for education programs and events. “TechAdvantage and the Expo offer the prime opportunity for all our members to explore cutting-edge technology and engage with industry leaders and bring that inspiration home to their co-op."

NRECA's top technology event runs March 9-12 alongside PowerXchange and will host multiple opportunities to explore new and evolving technology, processes and skills across more than 100,000 square feet of the Georgia World Congress Center.

The Expo

The Expo will have nearly 400 exhibitors, including more than 70 that will unveil products and services exclusively to event attendees. It will also facilitate private networking sessions between exhibitors and attendees to allow for a deeper dive into new technologies.

“The Expo is the premiere destination for the innovation industry, and the interaction co-op professionals can have with the latest technology available makes this event even more memorable and valuable," said Von McMeekin, NRECA manager of meeting and exhibits.

The event will also debut a new Electric Vehicle Pavilion, where attendees can take the latest EVs from Ford, GM and Stellantis for a spin.

Conference Highlights

April Rinne, change navigator, global futurist and bestselling author, kicks off TechAdvantage's opening general session on March 10.

Breakout sessions will focus on how co-ops are evolving in areas of storm response and recovery, strategies for supply chain kinks and Federal Emergency Management Agency procedures.

Combined sessions where TechAdvantage attendees can learn alongside their PowerXchange colleagues include:

  • Brian Solis, global innovation lead at ServiceNow, an AI-driven business platform provider, will speak at a breakout session on “The Wheel of Disruption."
  • Cyndie Spiegel, bestselling author and community architect, will address the Women in Power session sponsored by OSR.

TechTalks, the popular 30-minute education sessions, will take place daily on the Expo floor.

“Co-op professionals cannot help but be inspired at TechAdvantage this year," said Kent. “From engineering to broadband, cybersecurity to AI and new EVs, there will be plenty of rich opportunities for thousands of attendees, co-op decision-makers and tech experts to find their inspiration."
