Meeting and Reception space

Interested in hosting a meeting at the Marriott Marquis or Renaissance Downtown? NRECA can accommodate your State’s events whether you have held an event in conjunction with the Legislative Conference before or will be joining the conference for the first time.

Similar to the process for NRECA’s PowerXchange & TechAdvantage Experience, NRECA will manage all space at both hotels. Meeting space requests can be submitted via this NRECA request form. NRECA will make every effort to ensure the meeting space assigned to your group will satisfactorily accommodate your event goals. Meeting space is available to hold a range of functions at the hotels from Saturday – Wednesday when NRECA programming is not occurring. Note: Groups will be unable to contact the hotels directly to secure meeting space for their events.

Reservations at the Marriott Marquis and Renaissance Downtown hotels will be made via a reservation link that will be posted on the, Legislative Conference page when registration opens. By utilizing a reservation housing link, NRECA cannot guarantee that all participants from a State will be at the same hotel. Registration will open in early 2023.

The Marriott Marquis offers several dining options:

  • Anthem: breakfast and lunch
  • Dignitary: moody cocktail lounge specializing in whiskey and bourbon
  • Lobby Bar
