NRECA and its partners have received federal research funding for a Distributed Energy Management Systems (DERMS) Deployment project through the Community-Integrated Distributed Energy Resilience (CIDER) Program, and are looking to recruit cooperatives to participate.
We are looking to work with co-ops who would be willing to deploy a DERMS for monitoring and controlling distributed energy resources (DERS), i.e. solar, storage, and flexible load. In the research portion of the project, NRECA would like to study and measure how the system capabilities can assist with outage restoration.
