Hobby:
My wife and I enjoy Nordic skiing, biking, trail running and hiking with the kids and dogs. I especially enjoy “bikepacking," which is overnight mountain biking.

Favorite bikepacking trip?
Most memorable trip was through Copper Canyon in Mexico. Amazing terrain, friendly and welcoming people, great food and good friends.

What's the longest you've been away?
I've never been gone for longer than a week, but I would like to plan an extended trip.

Do you have any trips coming up?
New Mexico and Idaho to visit the hot springs.

What were you doing before you joined the co-op?
I worked in the ski industry for 18 years doing everything from parking lot attendant, to ski patrol to most recently resort planning and sustainability director.

How did you hear about the job at the co-op?
I worked with the co-op a lot in my last role. It was always at the top of my “dream employers" list, so when I saw the opportunity, I jumped on it.

What do you like most about working at the co-op?
I love working with my colleagues, our board and the community to find collaborative solutions to challenges.

What does a strategy execution specialist do?
I get to work on the “big vision" projects like solar and hydro developments, community solar gardens, EV infrastructure and climate action member engagement.

Education:
Undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire and a graduate degree in Environmental Policy and Natural Resource Management from the University of Denver

One random fact about you:
I live in the community of Crested Butte South with my wife (Tee) and our four teenage kids. I feel as though we are single handedly keeping the local grocery store in business these days. We also have two dogs (Tater and Rose.)
