Hobby:
I have always enjoyed water sports and skied for a nationally ranked water ski team.

How did you get into that?
I was going with a friend to watch the competitions, and next thing I knew, I was part of the team. We traveled to compete and did shows in town twice a week. Every year we had a different theme. My favorite was probably Dukes of Hazard.

Was it a big team?
It was composed of 50 to 60 co-ed teammates. We had junior skiers, people running sound and managing equipment, boat drivers and spotters in each boat, an emcee introducing acts, and lots of people working behind the scenes.

How long did you compete?
Almost three years.

And what was your biggest accomplishment?
We created four pyramids, four levels high, pulled behind one boat.

What were you doing professionally before you joined the co-op?

I worked at an eye doctor’s office doing billing and medical chart preparation.

How did you hear about the job at the co-op?
I heard about it through a friend and applied online.

What do you like most about working there?
I enjoy the family-like atmosphere and the many laughs I share daily with my co-workers.

What else do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I love to travel, read, kayak, hunt and spend time on the lake.

Education:
Associate degree in human services from Ivy Tech Community College in Fort Wayne, Indiana
