Hobby:
Barrel racing

How long have you been barrel racing?
Eight years.

How did you get into it?
I was introduced via a reality TV show called “Rodeo Girls.” I’ve always loved horses, adrenaline and competition, so riding horses as fast as I could around barrels sounded like a blast.

Were your parents immediately on board?
They put me in riding lessons to make sure I actually liked it before buying my first horse. Needless to say, I was hooked.

How often do you train?
I ride multiple times a week to keep my horse in shape.

How did you hear about the job at White River Valley?
My husband works at a neighboring co-op, so I was familiar with the co-op values. A lineman at White River told my husband about the position, and it sounded like the perfect fit.

What were you doing before you joined the co-op?
Marketing and social media for a small business in the area.

What do you like most about working at the co-op?
I love collaborating with my awesome team on fun projects throughout the year.

What else do you enjoy doing in your free time?
We just had our first child, so I’ve been spending all of my time with her. When she gets a little older, she’ll join us on travels exploring the beauty of The Ozarks in our area.

Random fact about you:

I went skydiving last year, and it was awesome.
