Will we see you in Minneapolis this year?
If you haven’t already, make plans to attend NRECA’s CONNECT Conference this year. May 12-15, electric cooperative communicators from across the nation will come together for the industry’s premiere conference for all things communications and marketing.
Hosted at the Minneapolis Marriott City Center, more than 500 attendees will connect, collaborate and learn about topics ranging from smart phone videography to media training—there’s something for everyone.

If you’re going to CONNECT ’15, here are a few activities for CCCs that you might want to take part in.
GROUP CCC PHOTO
If you purchased a CCC CONNECT ’15 T-shirt, we’ll have it for you to pick up at the conference registration table. Wear your T-shirt Tuesday evening at the Spotlight on Excellence Celebration & Welcome Reception, where we’ll be taking a group CCC photo.
iPAD MINI 2 GIVEAWAY
To create some buzz around the CCC program, we’re giving away an iPad Mini 2 during the conference. To enter, post why you became a CCC in the CONNECT app’s activity feed using hashtag #CCC. Stop by the CCC booth and show us your post to receive a ticket for the drawing. Be present during the Closing General Session on Friday, May 15, where the winner will be drawn and announced.
Giveaway Rules: One entry per person for the drawing. Must be present during the final session to show your entry ticket if your number is drawn. CCC board members are not eligible for this promotion.
NETWORK, NETWORK, NETWORK
As a seasoned communicator, don’t forget to reach out and network with new faces at CONNECT ’15. If you meet a first-time attendee, be sure to help them get “plugged in” and get the most out of their experience. You might be surprised, you may learn a few new things from them, too.
