In addition to NRECA experts providing insight into the latest happenings and tools of the trade, the CCC Program was also a spotlight during the event. Partnering with Jean Capon, NRECA senior program manager, who spoke about the CONNECT Conference, and Diane Rhodes-Michaely, senior learning strategies representative, who spoke about learning opportunities with NRECA, CCC Board member Casey Hollins from Rappahannock Electric Cooperative gave an overview of the certification program and encouraged attendees to begin aspiring to earn their CCCs.

During the annual showcase segment, the CCC Program was also highlighted at a booth. Attendees had an opportunity to ask specific questions about the process to earn their CCCs, as well as review sample portfolios.

This annual program held in the spring, typically maintains an extended waiting list. In an effort to afford the learning opportunity to more communicators each year, the orientation a fall session will be held Sept. 26 through Sept. 29. Learn more on cooperative.com
