Driving from Atlanta, Georgia, to Pass Christian, Mississippi, just days after the storm, she fell into a long convoy of several hundred trucks heading south – all of which had cooperative logos on their doors, poles strapped to their tops, and spare transformers stacked in every available space. She had worked in the cooperative world for three years, but that day a light bulb went off, so to speak, and she understood what it means to be a part of the cooperative family. Now celebrating 13 years at SEDC, working with and for cooperatives, she knows she doesn’t want to work with any other family.
