The National Electric Cooperative Mentoring Program is designed to help organizations retain top talent and prepare new HR professionals for their new role at the cooperative. An experienced mentor can help new employees get acclimated, decrease their learning curve and build their national cooperative network. Meetings are conducted virtually. Mentors and mentees are matched by needs, skills, and experiences.
- As a mentor, you'll share your experience and knowledge with new co-op employees while strengthening your leadership skills.
- As a mentee, you'll learn new ideas and best practices from experienced co-op professionals and grow your skill set and knowledge. This is a great opportunity for new co-op employees or for experienced co-op employees taking on a new job role.
- Mentors and mentees expand their professional network and learn about the approaches and successes of other co-ops across the country.
- Set your own schedule and meet as often as you like and when it's convenient for you. Most mentor and mentee matches meet for one hour, once a month!
