NRECA filed a brief answer to motions to intervene and comments in the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) proceeding on ISO New England’s recent proposed modifications of its forward capacity market. NRECA supports the requests by New Hampshire Electric Cooperative, several public power utilities and the American Public Power Association (APPA) that FERC institute a separate proceeding to investigate whether the ISO tariff should be further modified to facilitate self-supply of capacity by load-serving entities.
