NRECA, along with the American Public Power Association (APPA) and Large Public Power Council (LPPC), asked the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for clarification and, in the alternative, rehearing of the requirement in Order 845 that transmission providers maintain network models and underlying assumptions on either their Open Access Same-Time Information (OASIS) site or a password-protected website. The trade associations urge FERC to clarify that transmission providers may designate information they believe should be treated as Critical Energy/Electric Infrastructure Information (CEII) for the purpose of securing the information, and may apply reasonable standards with respect to requests for access to confidential, commercially sensitive information or CEII before permitting such information to be provided.FULL FILING
