NRECA filed comments with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) on proposed changes to the cranes and derricks in construction rule for operator certification. NRECA opposes the additonal regulatory burden created by OSHA's proposal to require operators of derricks and other equipment that is exempt from certification to conduct and document evaluations of operators of this equipment.
