​​On October 8, NRECA, along with EEI and UTC, met with Will Adams of the Office of Commissioner Carr. Consistent with the written comments filed in the docket, EEI, NRECA, and UTC urged the Commission to deny the Petition for Declaratory Ruling submitted by NCTA – the Internet & Television Association (“NCTA Petition") in its entirety.   The petition sought to require utility pole owners to pay a substantial portion of the costs to replace a pole to accommodate new communications attaches.
