On March 24, NRECA filed comments with the FCC in support of implementing simple, consumer-friendly labels for broadband services. The comments were filed in response to the FCC's Noticed of Proposed Rulemaking for broadband labeling as mandated in the bipartisan infrastructure law. NRECA said that if done correctly, these labels will allow consumers to undertake an apples-to-apples comparison of competing service offerings and make an informed choice of which one best fits their needs and pocketbook.
