​On January 6, NRECA submitted an updated version of its pole attachment whitepaper to support its opposition to a proposal by some incumbent providers that the FCC require all entities that win Rural Digital Opportunity Fund (RDOF) broadband bids to comply with the FCC's pole attachment regulations. The Ex Parte filing also advocated that the FCC adjust the weighting and tiering in the upcoming RDOF broadband auction to prioritize higher speed broadband networks that will meet the growing speed and bandwidth needs for years to come.
