NRECA filed comments with the Federal Emergency Management Agency to support the Agency's decision to increase the threshold used to distinguish large projects from small projects.  Projects that fit under the small category are able to be reimbursed using estimated costs and less paperwork.  The current threshold above which a project would be deemed large was $132,800.  FEMA increased the threshold to $1,000,000.  With the increased threshold, more electric cooperative disaster related projects will be reimbursed more rapidly and with lower administrative burden.
