​On August 22, 2019, NRECA filed comments at DOE in response to the agency's request for information on codes and standards used in the industry. In our comments we recommend that 1) DOE recognize the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) as the code followed by the industry and 2) DOE needs to be cognizant that states, and localities adopt and amend the NESC thus a one size fits all approach is not feasible.
