​NRECA filed comments with the Department of Energy (DOE) in response to its request for information on Equitable Access to Community Solar. NRECA and its members are well-suited to voluntarily provide renewable energy solutions, including community solar, for rural communities specifically designed to meet their needs and thereby increase equitable access to such projects. Electric cooperatives focus on member needs while working for the sustainable development of their communities.​​
