​​​On April 1, NRECA filed reply comments in response to the FCC's Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking relating to the implementation of its digital discrimination rules.

NRECA's reply comments:

1. Assert that the proposed rules would impose a substantial burden on small and rural providers;
2. Highlight the fact that rural electric cooperatives are already fully committed to non-discrimination and as such merit an exemption to the proposed requirements; and
3. Advocate for a “small entity" exemption for entities with fewer than 100,000 broadband customers.
