On October 24, NRECA, along with USTelecom – the Broadband Association (USTelecom) and NTCA – The Rural Broadband Association (NTCA), met with staff in the FCC's Wireline Competition Bureau to discuss the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) Transparency proceeding. Specifically, concerns were raised with the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking's (NPRM) proposal for a subscriber-level collection. The Associations urged the FCC to adopt a less onerous method of gathering the data on an annual basis using data already collected from ACP enrollees rather than adding additional entry fields when they sign up.
