​On May 6, NRECA and APPA filed joint reply comments with the FCC in support of a petition for reconsideration filed by EEI seeking modifications to Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) rules adopted in 2020.  The rules would restrict legitimate communications and notifications between utilities and their customers and could jeopardize consumer safety and negatively impact customer service.  NRECA and APPA expressed full support of the requests of Petitioners and urged the Commission to grant the relief sought in a timely manner.​
