​On December 18, FERC sent a letter to the FCC expressing concerns with an FCC proposal to open the 6 GHz band, which is heavily used by utilities, to unlicensed usage.  FERC urged the FCC to undertake thorough testing to ensure there are no interference issues and offered its technical assistance.
