NRECA and the Edison Electric Institute (EEI) filed comments with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) on its interpretation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) with respect to automatic telephone dialing systems. The FCC issued a public notice seeking comment on issues relating to the intrepretation of TCPA and its rules following a recent D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals decision. NRECA and EEI submitted these comments in support of a new TCPA framework.
