​NRECA and the American Public Power Association (APPA) filed comments with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) on a proposal by the Midcontinent Independent System Operator, Inc. (MISO) for existing generator replacements. The proposal would implement an expedited process for the owner of an existing generating facility to replace a resource where it is shown that the replacement will not have a material adverse impact on the MISO transmission system.
