​NRECA joined the National Hydropower Association and other trade associations in filing comments with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) on the agency's proposals to implement an expedited process for issuing and amending hydropower licenses as a result of America's Water Infrastructure Act of 2018. Our comments argue that the proposal offers minimal advantages over the existing process and may even take longer in some cases, and thus we recommend further reforms to the process. FULL FILING
