The National Compensation System (NCS) is based on data from NRECA member cooperatives, public power districts and public utility districts. This highly specialized and confidential data is made available to NRECA voting members and is intended for internal use only.
To assist our members that have retained a professional consultant or consulting agency for the purpose of compensation planning, while ensuring the confidentiality of the NCS data, NRECA developed a Consultants Edition of the NCS. This is available for purchase by the consultant or consulting agency under contract with an NRECA voting member and is subject to the terms of the 
Consultant License Agreement(PDF).
If you are a consultant working with one of NRECA's voting members and would like to purchase the 2024 National Compensation System Consultants Edition for $12,000 (available in late March), please review the terms outlined in the Consultant License Agreement (PDF) and complete the order form below. To purchase an earlier version of the NCS Consulants Edition, please contact Beth Wray at Beth.Wray@nreca.coop
By completing and submitting this order form, you are agreeing to our terms of use outlined in the Consultant License Agreement.
Additionally, since the Consultants Edition of the NCS is housed on our member portal, Cooperative.com, a Cooperative.com login is required to access the NCS. To obtain access to this portal, please follow the instructions in Step 2 below.

Step 2: Complete the Cooperative.com Temporary Access Request Form
Please complete the Cooperative.com Temporary Access Form in it's entirety, making sure to complete these fields exactly as specified below:
- Purpose and Requested Access Period: NCS Consultants Edition
- Access Begin Date: Today's date
- Access End Date: 05/01/2025
This will ensure that you have uninterrupted access to the NCS data.
