As part of the
DOE-funded RADWIND project, NRECA Research collaborated with PNNL to ensure
that cooperative owned and contracted projects are populated in a new national
Distributed Wind Project Database. The database is searchable and filterable to
help users, including electric cooperatives and rural public power districts,
locate projects of interest.

This webinar provides a tutorial on the features and capabilities of the Distributed Wind
Project Database. The database has search and filter capabilities according to
location, year online, turbine manufacturer, and more. A full dataset is also
available for download. The full, downloadable dataset includes the owner,
interconnecting utility, and power purchaser for each project (as applicable
and when available). This will allow rural electric cooperatives to identify
distributed wind projects in cooperative territories and whether the projects
are cooperative-owned, consumer-member owned, or if the energy is purchased by
a cooperative.
This effort is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), through the Wind Energy Technology Office (WETO), under Award Number DE-EE0008958.0001.
