Electric vehicles (EVs) have been gaining in popularity in recent years, and alongside them charging stations are becoming more commonplace. The recent advent of wireless charging is adding to the convenience of these vehicles, removing the need to plug in, but the convenience comes with a cost. Wireless charging stations are only about 87% efficient and can be a source of energy waste in the home.
