Plug-in Electric Vehicles and Electric Cooperatives is a three-volume series of guides exploring the electric vehicle market trends, impacts to the distribution system and advice on developing a program for members. Published in 2015, the guides were researched and developed by researchers at Collaborative Efficiency and Integral Analytics for NRECA’s Business and Technology Strategies Department (formerly Cooperative Research Network).

Volume I discusses plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs) and the rise vehicle electrification. Volume II looks at how co-ops will need to monitor and manage potential grid impacts of this growing load, and Volume III offers practical advice to co-ops on seeking to develop a PEV program.
