The 2021 Safety Leadership Summit program offers the following:
Pre-Conference Workshops: Full and half-day workshops on a variety of topics designed to engage staff to become better safety leaders regardless of role or tenure (additional fees apply).
Keynote speakers: Inspiring messages about practical leadership behaviors, personal commitment, accountability, and guarding against complacency to support safety as a core value.
Safety Improvement Talks: Members sharing innovations with members.
Sponsor Spotlights: Service and Associate Member sponsors sharing information on innovative tools, technology, and services.
Safety Master Classes: Insights from top industry safety practitioners.
MAD MeetUp Networking: Lightly facilitated networking designed to connect attendees with NRECA & co-op leaders, sponsors, speakers, and each other on topics of interest.
Due to the capacity limits and other safety protocols as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the event format will consist of 5 General Sessions, Safety Improvement Talks and networking opportunities. To support informal networking and information exchange the event will feature Minimum Approach Distance (MAD) Meet Up rooms hosted by sponsors/vendors. These room will have suggested topics related to specific safety topics/competencies, but will not have formal presentations.
