2024 Safety Leadership Summit

NRECA’s premier industry, educational and networking event for electric co-op staff responsible for safety practices.



Nearly 900 safety professionals joined us in Kansas City, Missouri for 2024 Safety Leadership Summit—actively participating with colleagues, industry experts and thought leaders who are working on making significant safety improvements. Attendees connected with hundreds of members from across the country, accessed the latest safety resources and discussed important issues within the industry.

Our collaboration with Federated Rural Electric Insurance Exchange allowed us to take this event to the next level! With the support of Federated, we extended the duration of the event, secured top-notch speakers and incorporated robust networking opportunities to ensure attendees received the highest quality content and even more opportunities to connect with peers, experts and industry leaders to enhance their Safety Leadership Summit experience.

The 2024 Safety Leadership Summit program included:

  • Pre-conference Workshops: 2 full-day workshops and 4 half-day workshops
  • Noteworthy Keynote Speakers
  • Safety Improvement Talks (SITs) highlighting safety improvements by co-ops, for co-ops
  • Breakout sessions by leading industry and topic professionals
  • Exciting networking receptions and celebrations
