Empowering America's Electric Cooperatives

Join us for the largest gathering of electric cooperative leaders, designed to embrace the challenges of our ever-changing industry and cultivate future-focused thinkers.

We were excited to welcome nearly 3,000 electric cooperative leaders to the debut of NRECA's annual meeting under its new name and renewed mission: PowerXchange: Where insights, ideas and connections converge. Through educational and interactive sessions, we learned about the most important issues impacting the industry and connected with other leaders who were eager to share their solutions to similar challenges. We look forward to picking up the conversation and learning again with you next year in Nashville, March 6-9, 2022 (pre-conference director education will be held March 4-6).

What Is PowerXchange?

Redesigned as a vibrant hub of engagement and discovery, our newly envisioned annual meeting of members is a place where you can share ideas, strategies and best practices while casting your vote on future-focused issues that will make a difference.

PowerXchange is about what’s impacting costs and efficiency now. It’s about weighing in on industry initiatives that will shape the energy landscape for years to come. It’s about cultivating forward-thinking strategy with sessions centered around future issues. And, most importantly, it’s about exchanging ideas, improving upon them, and finding innovative solutions to their day-to-day challenges.

The name PowerXchange is inspired by the knowledge sharing that is the cornerstone of this event. Not only does the word “power” evoke the energy industry, it also signifies the powerful impact resulting from this exchange of ideas, and the power of bringing together the entire co-op community to solve challenges and amplify results. The abbreviation of the word exchange with a large X represents the concept of convergence and coming together.
