Professional Development Hour (PDH) is defined as one contact hour of instruction, presentation or study. The term PDH is commonly used in the engineering community.
Many state licensing boards require that professional engineers maintain and improve their skills through continuing education courses and other opportunities for professional development
For more information on recertification requirements please contact National Society of Professional Engineers at www.nspe.org/resources/licensure
Please note – the accrediting organization has the final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for credit. You may want to check with your state board or certifying body to see what documentation is required or if pre-course approval is needed.
To obtain proof of attendance for NRECA course or conference, select "Member Center" at the top of this page and then "My Course Record." (Attendance records post 3-4 weeks after event.) We also recommend you keep a copy of the course/conference brochure in your files.
