Ling Wang joined CFC’s executive leadership team as senior vice president and chief financial officer on May 3. She succeeds Andrew Don, who became CFC’s chief executive of​ficer, following Sheldon Petersen’s planned retirement.

During her 22-year tenure at CFC she has held various positions within CFC’s finance department. She most recently served as vice president of Capital Markets since 2017.

In her previous roles she was responsible for CFC’s long-term funding and treasury operations, investor and banking relations, rating agency engagements, loan syndication and loan sale functions.

She holds an MBA and M.S. from the University of Maryland College Park, is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst.

“Ling has established a very strong working relationship with many of our member cooperatives through her loan syndication activity,” CFC CEO Andrew Don said. “I look forward to continuing to work with Ling in her new role supporting our member-owners and ensuring CFC attains our financial strategic goals.”
