​NRECA CEO Jim Matheson sent a letter to House Energy and Commerce leadership in support of commonsense efforts to reform and streamline the federal broadband permitting process. Specifically, NRECA expressed appreciation for efforts to alleviate the need for duplicative reviews, especially on broadband projects crossing federal lands, and add predictability and certainty to the federal permit application process.​
