Hobby: Archery hunting.
How did you get into that?
I used to tease my brother because he hadn’t shot an elk with his bow. He told me that I could never archery hunt because it’s too hard, so I decided to show him.
When did you buy your first bow?
I bought my first bow in 2018. From that day forward, my goal was to get an elk before my brother.
And did you beat your brother to it?
I had several near-miss situations between 2018 and 2021, but in September 2021 I got my first elk before my brother did. I could not have done it without my husband’s help.
How often do you go hunting?
The season goes from September through December, and it’s a family affair. My husband, two kids and I hike and prepare all summer for hunting season.
What do you love most about it?
It’s quality time with the whole family.
How did you hear about the job at Fall River REC?
Through family and friends.
What were you doing before you joined the co-op?
I was working for the State of Idaho at the Juvenile Corrections Center.
What do you like most about working at the co-op?
The atmosphere and work ethic of everyone here. We’re like one big family.
What else do you enjoy doing in your free time?
My husband and I run our local snocross circuit, IMR SnoCross, which my son races in. We also attend Amsoil National SnoCross races with him.
Education: Associate degree in business management and accounting from Stevens Henager College.
Random fact about you: I love to bake.
