Camping with the family

Did you camp much as a child?
When I was young, my brother and I went camping a lot with our parents. We were gone for up to two weeks during the summer. I would like to do that with my own family now.

Best and worst camping trips?
Best was Mears, Michigan, and the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. Worst was when my dad’s truck broke down in Wyoming the day before we were supposed to head home.

Three places you plan on visiting in 2021?
Since we have a young one, we will stay close to home. Jellystone, Indiana, one of the nearby state parks like East Harbor, and my parents’ property in Michigan.

Favorite camping spots?
Yellowstone and Mears.

What were you doing before you joined the co-op?
I worked at the Jeep assembly plant in Toledo as an IT infrastructure technician.

How did you hear about the job at the co-op?
I was working nights when I found the job online.

What do you like most about working at the co-op?
I like the small environment. Everyone I work with is very friendly.

What else do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I like being outside. I play softball and enjoy the pool.

Bachelor’s degree from the University of Toledo

One random fact about you:
I would like to hike the Appalachian Trail someday.
