Mike joined the NRECA team in March 2014. He is responsible for establishing the framework for the creation, maintenance, and delivery of effective consumer analytics and market research consulting services and products. As an experienced marketing and business analytics leader, he understands the importance of turning data into actionable insights, focusing the team’s efforts on providing more than just topline results. Prior to joining NRECA, he held positions with Wells Enterprises and Gateway Computers. Mike holds a BS of Statistics with a Minor in Sociology from Iowa State University.

Jane Sanstead

Jane has been a member of the Market Research Services team for almost 20 years. She has been leading the project management and analysis aspects of the team since 2015. She has successfully managed several multi-cooperative projects and focuses on building strong relationships with the co-ops we serve. In addition to her quantitative research skills, Jane is trained in qualitative research with experience moderating focus groups and conducting in-depth interviews. Jane holds a BA in Business Administration from Augustana University (Sioux Falls, SD) and has earned Insights Association’s Insights Professional Certification (IPC).

Miki has more than 30 years of experience conducting cooperative research, working with various data collection methods (telephone, mail, online, in-person). She has developed a strong understanding of best practices in contacting residential and business members as well as co-op employees and directors.
