​​On July 8, NRECA met with staff to FCC Chairman Pai to express concern about distance limits in the draft broadband mapping order which would exclude any home served with broadband using a fiber run farther than 6,600 feet from an aggregation point.  If adopted, the limits would have greatly increased the cost of deploying fiber to rural America.
